DESCRIPTION
3 Surveyors assisted Topo Survey engaged in plotting the “fence” being constructed by 7 RAR.
131 SURVEY
Around this time Topo Survey extended an opportunity to those conscripts in 131 Survey ranks whose job involved map draughting, a transfer to that section within their ranks. Gnr K McNamara was one to take up this offer. L/Bdr B Irvine also offered his experience when his 131 duties permitted.

I remember some of us were involved with Topo, surveying along the minefield from Lang Phuoc Hai to the Horseshoe. We helped survey the ARVN Posts in.

6. During the reporting period a third order station, AAS015 (Phuoc Hai) was established at, E 751 957.97 N1154 112.13 by tellurometer distance and bearing from AASO13 (Horseshoe). Further fourth order stations were established from AASO15 by tellurometer distance and bearing.

13. Two members of 131 Div Loc Bty with draughting experience, have been working for this unit during June and have been of great assistance.
